RECORD releasing Android app

No sooner had RECORD released its iApp in November 2010 than the queries began to roll in: “When will we have a RECORD app for Android?” Some people are never satisfied.

Well, the technically-enabled have spoken and RECORD has answered; the Record app for Android-enabled devices is set for release by February 2012. You’ll be able to pick it up FREE! at the Android Market—go hither and search “Adventist Record”.

"Now that Android devices have a substantial and growing share of the Australian mobile device market share, it was critical that we kept up,” said James Standish, director of communication for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific.

“We’re trying to expand our reach,” said head of news and editorial, Pastor Pablo Lillo. “We want to connect with not just iPhone users but all the smart phone users out there. We want to continue to share the gospel through new, fresh exciting ways.”
